Project Focus

What the system needed to do.

A Small Catalog With Real Depth

The product architecture gave three SKUs enough context to feel substantial without bloating the store.

Content Built to Sell

Recipes and product data help customers understand how to use each spice instead of asking them to guess.

Launch Foundations That Can Grow

The system is ready for more products, bundles, recipes, and content as the brand expands.

Overview

The project in context.

Dicky T's had a chef-led identity and three spice blends to introduce. A first-time shopper needed more than packaging and an Add to Cart button: they needed to understand the flavor, picture a meal, and feel comfortable choosing a blend. The launch had to make that decision clear without stretching a small catalog into an unnecessarily complicated store.

Our role. PixelPrecision translated the brand into both a shopping experience and a manageable product structure. Brand expression, product education, recipes, and bundles were considered together, so the business did not have to choose between a distinctive storefront and a useful one.

The Challenge

What had to be untangled.

Selling an unfamiliar food product online means answering questions a customer might otherwise ask in person: What does it taste like? What can I cook with it? Which blend should I choose? The site needed to answer those questions while leaving a practical path for new products and recipes later.

The Solution

How the pieces connected.

We built Shopify around the purchase decision. Structured flavor, ingredient, and usage information feeds product pages; recipes connect inspiration to the relevant blend; bundles give the small range more buying options. The brand's personality remains visible throughout, with reusable content behind the scenes.

Our Process

The decisions behind the work.

01

Translate the Brand

Turned the chef-driven voice and visual direction into a storefront that felt bold, useful, and easy to shop.

02

Model the Product Data

Structured flavor notes, ingredients, use cases, recipes, and product education with Shopify metafields and metaobjects.

03

Build the Storefront

Created custom templates, sections, and product pages that made a tight launch catalog feel complete.

04

Connect Content to Commerce

Linked recipes and product recommendations so content could support discovery and buying decisions.

05

Prepare for Expansion

Built a system that can support more blends, bundles, recipes, and merchandising over time.

The Connected Solution

How it works for the business.

A Credible First Store

The storefront gives a new brand a complete presentation and a direct buying path without pretending it has a larger catalog than it does.

More Ways to Shop a Small Range

Multi-packs and bundles let the brand merchandise its first three products in useful combinations without expanding the underlying product line.

A Repeatable Product Story

Product templates give each blend the same useful structure, so adding another product does not mean starting the shopping experience from scratch.
